We are thrilled to announce that we have recently been approved for CHAS Accreditation. Being accredited by The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) ensures we always work within and maintain industry standard health and safety methods.
As an independent governing body, CHAS are aiming to improved industry wide health and safety standards across Great Britain. This is beneficial not only for us but also for our clients.
What is a CHAS Accredition?
CHAS is a Government sponsored third party examination of Health and Safety procedures. As an independent body, CHAS examine and assess potential applicants on all the following sectors;
- risk assessments
- site preparation
- our working method statements
Why do we have a CHAS Accreditation?
The purpose of CHAS is to help both buyers and suppliers in the assessment of health and safety competence. By reducing the time consuming process of completing and submitting full (but often varying) details of health and safety processes on each project we work on, clients can be assured of a consistent and closely monitored health and safety organisation system. This ensures your peace of mind.
Whilst the application process can be confusing and time consuming, its meticulous attention to detail ensures that only the best suppliers and buyers get accredited. With a CHAS accreditation, we commit to annual assessments which show that we are maintaining the high levels of health and safety organisation required.
How does a CHAS accreditation benefit customers?
Having a CHAS Accreditation benefits customers in numerous ways. First and foremost, it ensure peace of mind. The safety systems required to be granted a CHAS Accreditation closely monitor training, qualifications, risk assessments, safety organisation methods and procedures. This is reassessed annually by the independent governing body to guarantee consistency.
